Special Use License Application
A Special Use License is required for temporary use of Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District (MRGCD)
rights-of-way for construction, pumping (in/out), research, commercial boating, filming, special events, and
special activities. Typical processing time is 1-2 weeks.
Please note contractors making installations of licensed infrastructure are required to obtain a special use license.

By submitting your application, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions of the Middle
Rio Grande Conservancy District (MRGCD):
- You understand that application submission does not guarantee request approval. Furthermore, no action will take place on MRGCD facilities until a fully executed license is granted.
- You agree that you have provided the most accurate depiction of your proposed project to the best of your ability.
- You agree to abide by all MRGCD rules and regulations.
